Marceline entered our lives exactly one year ago as an abandoned stray. We took her in as a newly engaged couple & she instantly became apart of our family. To know Marcie was to love her. She was feisty yet loving, playful with her brother, cuddly, spoiled, & absolutely LOVED her wet food at exactly 5pm every day. Marceline was the greatest love of our lives, anyone who knew us knew how much we love our sweet girl.

On the morning of April 14th, we unexpectedly had to take Marceline to receive emergency care at VCA. They discovered fluid in her lungs that made it hard for her to breathe. She suffered from Feline Aortic Thromboembolism— when a blood clot from her heart cuts off blood flow to her legs, causing her to be paralyzed & crying out in pain. Unfortunately, Marceline passed away in my arms. We are currently struggling to find a way to pay for her veterinary care.

Any funds will go directly toward Marceline’s veterinary bill as well as her cremation. We are extremely grateful for any contribution made to our sweet Marcie girl. Thank you for reading & sharing Marceline’s story.
