My name is Tessie White Pipe. I am the mother of Manson James Two Two. On December 25, 2024, our son Manson was tragically murdered due to gun violence in Pine Ridge, SD. He was 15 years old.

Everyone who knew Manson knew how loving, funny, charismatic, and such an all-around good kid he was. Manson loved his family; anywhere he was, he needed to know his younger brother, sister, mom, and dad were okay. Manson also helped take care of his disabled father when he could because that is how big his heart was, not only for his family but for everyone he encountered.

Manson was always active in sports. He had just made the basketball team at Pine Ridge High School, and he was so excited. During the summer, he played baseball with all his cousins and family on the Mudcats and blue jays baseball teams, coached by his grandma Rose and his older cousin Ty and Aunt Amber tobacco.

We are aware our tribe will assist with paying for his burial cost. They will also provide us 2 star quilts, $300 and buffalo meat. We are asking for assistance for all the others cost that we will incur such as clothing for Manson, flowers, cakes, food for the wake and funeral, a venue, drums, spiritual leader, loss wages and other unforseen additional costs. As we mourn this tragic loss, we are asking for any kind of help to relieve the financial stresses.
