Support for Manish Patel and his family

We are Binoy and Nita Patel, fundraising on behalf of our cousin, Manish Patel, who unexpectedly passed away from Dengue Fever complications at age 45. He's survived by his wife, and his two young children.

Manish was an exceptional father and the primary support source for his family in Gujarat, India. Everyone who knew him could speak to how selfless, hard-working, and caring he was in every aspect of his life.

Unfortunately, on August 25th, he was hospitalized with complications to multiple organs due to the onset of Dengue fever. His condition progressively worsened, and after one week in the ICU, his body rejected any treatment offered. He ultimately lost his battle on September 4th.

Due to the unexpected situation and healthcare costs in India, his family has been overwhelmed with medical expenses and financial instability for themselves. The loss of a parent at a young age has been difficult on the children, and the lack of financial support may prevent them from receiving a complete education. On his behalf, we are raising money as a starting point to relieve his family's medical costs and support the continued education of both children.
