Manish Kumar was a dedicated husband, father, and friend who touched the lives of many. I had the privilege of knowing Manish as a colleague, and I witnessed firsthand his kindness, work ethic, and devotion to his family. In 2024, Manish was diagnosed with a serious illness while living in the US on a work visa. He bravely underwent treatment for about a year, all while supporting his wife Archana and their two young sons.
Unfortunately, due to work visa issues, Manish and his family had to leave the US and return to India, where he continued his treatment. Despite the challenges, Manish's employer was able to keep him employed through their Asia-based organization, allowing him to provide for his family as best as he could. However, after a year of treatment in India, Manish passed away at the end of 2025 due to cardiac arrest while still undergoing treatment for his illness and battling through health conditions.
He was the sole earner for his family, and they spent most of their savings on his medical care. Because he was employed in India at the time of his passing, he did not have access to the life insurance benefits he once had in the US. Manish never wanted to burden others with his illness, so many of his friends may be learning about his struggle with health issues for the first time.
Now, his family needs help more than ever. Your support will help Archana and their two boys cover immediate living expenses and provide some stability as they navigate life without Manish. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for this family during an incredibly difficult time.
