Mandie is a devoted mother to three incredible children—ages 8, 10, and 15—who were the center of her and her husband Jack’s life together. On January 7th, their world collapsed when Jack, a loving father, husband, and veteran, was tragically killed while the two of them were out for a walk. Jack died after being struck by a Utah Highway Patrol vehicle, leaving Mandie and her children to carry a loss no family should have to endure.

Jack was the heart of his family. He was deeply involved in his children’s lives, a steady partner to Mandie, and the primary provider for their household. His sudden passing has left Mandie and the kids navigating not only profound grief, but also the very real and immediate financial strain that comes with losing a spouse, a parent, and the family’s main source of income.
