My mama passed away yesterday, 1-6-26, at 45 years old. She had many, many health issues over the past 15+ years. She was diagnosed with diabetes about 15 years ago, Hep-C about 15 years ago, a car wreck about 6 years ago, then glaucoma about 1 year ago, and complete kidney failure about a month ago. On top of all that, she had no health insurance, no life insurance.

We are asking for some help with cremation, which costs approximately $1,500, and we would like to have a ceremony to celebrate her life. With Christmas just passing, I know it’s hard for everyone. As of right now, we have $700. I am going to set the goal at $1,500, to hopefully be able to do the cremation and have the ceremony for her. We appreciate everyone that has helped this far, and we appreciate all the prayers sent to my family, as this is a hard pill to swallow. My mama was so tough; she always bounced back, she always overcame everything, and it was absolutely expected for her to be okay. I knew she wasn’t well, but I did not think she would be gone so soon. My mama was far from perfect, but she absolutely made an impression on every person she met.

My mama was a beautiful soul; she was just sick and suffering. Many people loved my mama, and I am so grateful for the outpouring of support and prayers. My family appreciates it so much.
