In Loving Memory of Mama Carmen

On Friday, December 5th, 2025, during Jumuah, our beloved mother Umm Najee — better known to many as Mama Carmen — returned to her Lord. After decades of courageously battling kidney disease and diabetes, she passed away surrounded by love and faith.

Mama Carmen was more than a mother. She was a shelter, a provider, and a source of comfort for family, friends, and even strangers. She gave selflessly, even when she herself was in need. She opened her home and her heart to everyone, treating them as her own children. Her kindness and generosity touched countless lives, and her legacy lives on through her family and community.

She leaves behind:

• 3 devoted sons

• 8 cherished grandchildren

• 5 precious great-grandchildren

Though she gave so much to others, Mama Carmen left this world with debts and without life insurance or financial resources to cover her final expenses. We, her family, are striving to raise $15,000 to cover funeral arrangements and outstanding expenses.
