Support for Malik Blankey AKA Numbers

Hi my name is Brandon Best, it comes with an extremely heavy heart that I am organizing this fund raiser. On the evening of July 2nd a tragic accident happened to my friend Malik Blakney(Numbers). He was up from Arizona visiting family when he got a call from back home delivering the worst new of his life, all 4 of his kids and wife were in an accident with a semi truck. 4 of them died on impact and one was rushed to the hospital that died upon arrival. I have known Numbers for over 7 years, when he found out the news it was the worst thing I have ever had to witness. The amount of pure pain and agony that he was going through was un explainable, people around tried to help him cope but there is nothing we could have said or done to help lessen the gravity of the situation. As I go over to him to give him a hug and my condolences as I put my arms around him he immediately collapses into my arms, at that point I felt the a tiny sliver of what this man is going through and its was so overwhelming it has kept me up the last few nights . He is having his wife and kids flown back up here so they can be buried close to home. His children's names were Josyia(17) Giovanni(16) Malik Jr(8) Makayla(5). When a kid loses there parents they are called an orphan, when a spouse loses a significant other they are called a widow. There is no word for when a parent loses a child because it is truly one of the most horrible things that could happen. I can not imagine what Numbers is going through right now. He not only has all of the funeral expenses but also grief time and the many other cost he will come up through this process.
