Makayla Carter's precious Elsa had 10 puppies several days ago and developed a life-threatening infection that, within hours of being admitted into the Medford Emergency Vets, took her life.

Her 10 puppies now need to be hand-raised, and Makayla's friends are pitching in to help her (you angels know who you are).

Beyond the grief of losing a beloved family member and coworker, Makayla now has a financial burden of the extremely costly vet bills at the emergency room.
