Hello everyone,

My family and I are creating this GoFundMe for our beloved mother, Mai Vang Xiong, who passed away on Friday January 23rd, 2026 due to a sudden cardiac arrest. The loss of our mother has been emotionally devastating for our family. She was the heart of our home, and her absence has left a deep pain that words can hardly express.

In the Hmong culture, funeral services are deeply meaningful and sacred. They are not only a time to mourn, but a vital way to honor our mother’s life, guide her spirit, and show respect for the traditions that shaped who she was. It is very important to our family to properly honor her life and spirit in a way that reflects our culture and the love we have for her.
