Magnolia is a sweet 8 month old girl, daughter to Rubia and Brian and also a sister to sweet Zinnia. She came 5 weeks before her due date and we know that God allowed this so they could have those extra cuddles and loving with Magnolia. God is perfect in everything He does and we are trusting firm in His promises.

On February 7th, they discovered a tumor, and within days, Magnolia was undergoing scans, hospitalizations, and a biopsy. By February 16th, they received the news that she has intermediate category 3 liver cancer. While this diagnosis is difficult, we are all holding onto hope and faith, believing that brighter days are ahead. Magnolia has already started chemotherapy, which will continue for several months, followed by surgery and more therapy. Through every challenge, we are trusting in God’s plan and the strength He provides.

This journey is not just medical, it’s emotional and financial. Brian and Rubia are doing everything they can to care for her and their 2.5 year-old daughter and we want to help them with this small burden. They are open about their struggles and are reaching out for help from their community, knowing that every bit of support makes a difference.

We are encouraged by the words of Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” And in Isaiah 41:10: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Our hope and prayers are that Magnolia will be a walking testimony of strength and healing. We pray that her medical team and providers are guided with the wisdom that only the Lord can provide. Any support, prayers, and generosity mean the world to us as we walk this journey together. Thank you for standing with Magnolia and her family in this fight.

Magnolia es una dulce niñita de 8 meses, hija de Rubia y Brian, y hermana de la dulce Zinnia. Nació 5 semanas antes de la fecha prevista del parto y sabemos que Dios lo permitió para que pudieran disfrutar de esos abrazos y cariños extra con Magnolia. Dios es perfecto en todo lo que hace y confiamos firmemente en sus promesas.

El 7 de febrero, le descubrieron un tumor y, en cuestión de días, Magnolia se sometió a exploraciones, hospitalizaciones y una biopsia. Para el 16 de febrero, recibieron la noticia de que tenía cáncer de hígado de categoría 3 intermedia. Si bien este diagnóstico es difícil, todos mantenemos la esperanza y la fe, creyendo que se avecinan días mejores. Magnolia ya comenzó la quimioterapia, que continuará durante varios meses, seguida de cirugía y más terapia. A pesar de cada desafío, confiamos en el plan de Dios y en la fuerza que Él nos brinda.

Este viaje no es solo médico, sino también emocional y financiero. Brian y Rubia están haciendo todo lo posible para cuidar de ella y de su hija de 2.5 años, y queremos ayudarlos con esta pequeña carga. Son abiertos con sus dificultades y buscan la ayuda de su comunidad, sabiendo que cualquier apoyo cuenta.

Nos alientan las palabras de Jeremías 29:11: «Porque yo sé los planes que tengo para ustedes —declara el Señor—, planes de bienestar y no de calamidad, para darles un futuro y una esperanza». Y en Isaías 41:10: «Así que no temas, porque yo estoy contigo; no desmayes, porque yo soy tu Dios. Te fortaleceré y te ayudaré; te sostendré con la diestra de mi justicia».

Esperamos y oramos para que Magnolia sea un testimonio viviente de fortaleza y sanación. Oramos para que su equipo médico y sus proveedores sean guiados con la sabiduría que solo el Señor puede brindar.
