Hi, We are Susan and Marian, friends and neighbors of Maggie.  You may not know this but she is having a very hard time right now.   

Earlier this year, her mom was diagnosed  with early onset Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD.)    This diagnosis makes logistical things, like moving, extremely challenging because she is completely unaware of her limitations and lack of ability to do systematic tasks with more than one step. Some good news is that  after two years on a waiting list for low income senior  housing, she was finally accepted.  But now Maggie will have to take time off of work to go back east and help her mom move.  There will be expenses for airfare, movers, cleaners, unpaid days off, etc.

On top of that, her sister's cancer has recurred.  To say that this has been a difficult year would be an understatement.  With this campaign we hope to help make things a little easier.  For those of us who can't help in a person-to-person way (or even if we can), we can chip in some money that will make a big difference in how stressful this next period of time is for Maggie.  Please give what you can.
