Mags has been my bestie since I was 15 years old and she married her sweet love, Nick, who I had the honor and privilege of being a bridesmaid of at their wedding last summer. They experienced a tremendous loss this past week after Nick’s mother fell and sadly but peacefully passed with her family by her side, thankfully.  Not only did Nick and Maggie, and his entire family suffer the loss of their mother, and aunt, and grandmother, and friend to many so unexpectedly but they also had to scramble to find support and assistance for Nick’s father who has Alzheimer’s and Sharon has been his sole caretaker.

It takes a village and we are nothing without the the support and love and help from our friends, whether deeply connected on a personally level or that of an understanding of the pain and empathy of love and loss.
