I am a Tempory disabled Army Veteran Trying to raise money for my Daughter's Headstone that passed in June 2020 She just turn 18 March 12 2020 . I was severly deppressed and mental wreak For a couple years. Since then God Blessed me with a son in November 2021 and was a unexpected blessing that God knew i needed at the time in my life. Because of him i got my life some what together and held down a good job for almost 3 years as a forklift driver for a microsoft company trying to suppot a new Family. While i was at the zoo carrying him on my shoulders alot that day in Oct 2023 I herniated a disc in my back and woke up the next day and could not walk or get out of bed. I had severe back spasms and was confined to a wheel chair for 6-7 mounths going through a recovery at the VA hospital Barly being able to pay my bills and take care of my family. When my son was 3 Me and my Family moved from the 1 bedroom house we were renting from friends for $800 a month to a nice $1200 a month 2023 2 bedroom moble home with a fenced in yard for our 3 small dogs that my gf had when we meet and shed in the back yard. We have lived there over a year now in Feb 2025 we have always paid our rent with my disability check and she has had mental problem since her mom passed a month after the baby was born and is starting to work part time and get her self together. with all the troubles and blessings i have had over the last 5 years I was not able to save any money for my daughters head stone. My parents covered what i belleve to be about $6500 furneral cost that i havent even been able to pay back to them yet. Yesterday going to her gravesight on her Birthday i told her it was my goal to get her one in 6 mos i have called around and been qouted $2500 - $6000 at various places for the exact one i want for her .but to my surprise i called a place yesterday and the owner said he is going to help me out with the best rate around a $1000 for the head stone to put everything i want on it for her. A picture of her, a rose , a angel, a microphone because she has always sung as a child and was in school choir since elementary school to high school , a vase to put flowers in and a quote thaat reads "Everything Happens For A Reason" the tatoo i was going to let her have after she turned 18. Her mother passed 6 months prior to her passing and she wanted to get that on her arm by her shoulder and never got it. there ia also going to be a expense for pouring the concret foundation for the head stone and was'nt able to find out today what thae cost is going to be yet but the owner said he works with the funeral/burial place all the time and is going to see if they will also help me out, what a blessing, i was in tears of joy when i got off the phone with him yesterday.So with that said i am trying to raise the money to get this taken care of soon as possible because it has been on my heart and my mind for 5 years. please help Madison Leigh Canter, her father, her family, and her friends have peace and closure for this headstone God bless You for giving whatever amount you can.
