Hiiii im Hannah and this is my baby Madeline. She was rushed to the emergency vet at 2am on Jan 15th because of abnormal mouth breathing and her ability to catch her breath. At the emergency vet they discovered she had an enlarged heart that is pushing into her sternum and up into her trachea. As much as i'd like to joke and say "its because shes such a sweetheart" unfortunately its not, and she is in heart failure. They suspect Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, but they cant be 100% sure unless Madeline can either see a cardiologist or have a full cardio workup in order to figure the best route to help her. I can very obviously not afford to see a specialist in Raleigh, though I really wish I could. I unfortunately cant afford the cardio workup after they sent me an estimate just earlier today and it hurts so bad that I cant better help my baby. I know this is a lot to ask, but I would at least try to see if I can do the workup so they can narrow down a plan to help her and get her on the correct medications. Anything helps, I hate asking, but I've already lost her brother, Einstein, 4 years ago and I dont know if I can lose her too.
