Support for Madeline Claire & Family

Hi, my name is Amanda Primasing and I am a long time family friend of Ashlee Moore and her precious daughter Madeline Claire (12). I am creating this fundraiser to help Madeline’s family, specifically her mother Ashlee, with the financial burden that comes along with prolonged medical treatment. Madeline suffered a stroke in utero that has led to over a dozen procedures, 10 brain surgeries, 1 reconstructive on her hand, 1 to remove tumors on her neck and a leg surgery done just today (2/7). This is due to the stroke in utero causing hydrocephalus, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy.

Today (2/7) she had growth plates in her leg fused. Because the other side is weak and doesn’t have the balance she needs from her stroke, Madeline will be wheel chair bound with full assist transfers for some time until she heals.

Today (2/7) her neuro team meets to put Madeline on the surgery board to remove the frontal lobe of her brain. All prior testing is complete and insurance has signed off. This is part one of a series of brain surgeries that will be taking place. This first one is anticipated this spring. The goal is to eliminate the parts of her brain that are causing her to have seizures 24/7. But due to the risk of surgery they have to take one section at a time. Overall goal is to remove the whole left half of her brain.

Madeline has an amazing family and support system, especially her mother Ashlee. Ashlee owns and operates a Salon in Sweet Home, Oregon. During this time Ash will be unable to work and as a mama of 4 she could use our help!
