On October 24, 2025, my world changed when Macy and Mallory arrived at just 30 weeks. Their early arrival meant they needed immediate respiratory care at ECU, which is two hours away from where we call home. The days since have been filled with worry, hope, and the constant challenge of being far from the comfort of our own space while trying to stay by their side in the hospital.

As a parent, all I want is to be there for my babies, but the distance and the costs of travel, food, and mounting medical bills have made this journey even harder. I’ve always been someone who finds it difficult to ask for help, but right now, I know I can’t do this alone. Creating this fundraiser was a big step for me, but I’m doing it for Macy and Mallory, so I can be there for them every step of the way.
