With my sister’s permission, I’m asking for help. My sister Mackenzie Walker has had a horrible past couple of months. She totaled her car while she was driving home sick. Soon after she went to Instacare because she couldn’t breathe. She was rushed to the hospital by ambulance where was diagnosed with a very severe case of pneumonia and became septic. She was then life flighted to Timpanogas Regional Hospital and was in the ICU. She was granted a Christmas miracle by coming home on Christmas Eve.

She has now been diagnosed with Empyema is a serious infection where pus collects in the pleural space, the area between your lungs and chest wall, often stemming from pneumonia or other infections, leading to fever, chest pain, and breathing issues, requiring antibiotics and sometimes drainage or surgery for treatment. 

A nurse comes daily to give her medication and check up on her. During her recovery, she can’t work during this time.

We are asking for help so she can get healthy again and not have to worry about medial and other expenses during this time.
