Mark-Anthony "M.A." Overby was my close friend since 1st grade, and his sudden passing last week has left all of us heartbroken. M.A. was a charismatic, incredibly funny, and kind person, a true nerd with a big heart. He loved making music, creating stories, playing Dungeons and Dragons, video games, and enjoyed Star Trek, Marvel and DC shows, reading manga and comic books. He brought joy to everyone around him and made lasting memories with his friends and family in Maryland. Everyone who interacted with him always felt loved and enjoyed his company.

This fundraiser is to help M.A.’s mom cover the costs of his funeral, cremation, and the services needed to empty his apartment. Any additional funds will go toward helping her with bills as she navigates this difficult time. Losing M.A. at just 33 years old is a tremendous loss, and his mom is facing many unexpected expenses while grieving.
