***an update from Lynns brother, Steven Gorski: Lynn's surgery will be on Nov 22nd, 2019. It is expected to be between 14 to 16 hrs requiring 3 different surgeons. It is considered "the mother of all surgeries " with 100 % of people who go through it to have complications. Many, if not all, require additional surgeries. She will be hospitalized for approximately 3 weeks and another 5 months of recovery time at home not to mention the financial toll has, is and will continue to be staggering. For those of you that know Lynn, you know she is a selfless, caring and uplifting spirit that brings happiness and joy to any situation. Lynn was recently diagnosed with the rarest form of Appendix Cancer. By the time they found it, it was at Stage 4 and had spread all over her body.
Lynn has been going through chemotherapy and will soon be having a 14+ hour surgery that will keep her in the hospital for a couple of weeks. She has been out of work all year as she fights this battle and will not be able to return for quite some time.
A group of her family members joined together to start this GoFundMe account hoping to help someone who never hesitates to help others. Any money raised will help Lynn with all of the expenses that come with this awful disease.
