On December 3rd, our community lost a bright and beautiful soul. 12-year-old Lydia Love was crossing a crosswalk on her scooter when she was unexpectedly struck by a vehicle. Despite every effort, Lydia passed away from her injuries.

Lydia was pure light. She was outgoing, strong, full of joy, and the kind of child who naturally made the world around her feel warmer. Her laughter, her creativity, and her fearless spirit made an impact on everyone who knew her.

This heartbreaking tragedy is made even heavier by the fact that this is the second child the family has had to say goodbye to.

We are coming together to support Lydia’s family during this devastating time. Funds raised will go directly toward medical expenses, funeral costs, and giving Lydia the peaceful, beautiful farewell she deserves.
