Friends, family, and community—please keep Krystal and Wade, and their family, in your thoughts and prayers. On March 7, their sweet 8-year-old son Luke went into cardiac arrest. Since that day, Luke has fought so incredibly hard, surrounded by the love of his family and the prayers of everyone who cares about him.

After days of hoping and praying for a miracle, Krystal and Wade have had to make the heartbreaking decision to remove Luke from life support. Out of deep love, they are waiting until Saturday so that Luke’s two sisters, Malea and Keola, can be by his side before then to say their goodbyes. This time together is precious, allowing the family to hold Luke close, surround him with love, and cherish every moment.

Luke is a sweet, loving little boy who has touched so many lives. He loves to play, laugh, and be with the people he loves most. Luke especially loves his mama and his family with his whole heart, and that love is something everyone around him has always felt. He is a beautiful, special boy who will always be deeply loved.
