Elizabeth Cervantes is someone who has quietly and faithfully served many families in our community for years. Through her work, she has cared for countless children and families, always showing kindness, professionalism, and a genuine heart for the people she serves. Elizabeth consistently goes above and beyond for her clients, and her work has touched far more lives than she likely realizes. She has a beautiful family—her husband, Rafael, and their two children, Luka and Lydia.

On Christmas Day, in the middle of opening presents, Elizabeth and Rafael were forced to rush their son Luka to the emergency room due to a sudden and severe illness. Since that day, Luka has remained hospitalized and is bravely fighting two serious bacterial infections. As of this writing, his condition has shown only limited improvement. We continue to pray for Luka and for the entire Cervantes family, asking God to surround them with His love and protection, guide the doctors and caregivers, and bring healing so they can return home together and finish the Christmas celebration they were forced to leave behind.

During this time, Elizabeth and Rafael have been unable to work as they remain by Luka’s side, and medical expenses continue to grow each day. God calls us to love and serve one another as stewards of His grace, and this GoFundMe has been created to directly support Elizabeth and her family. All gifts will go directly to the Cervantes family, giving them the freedom to address their most pressing needs and devote their full attention to Luka’s care.
