My Luisito, at 40 years old, suddenly went home to heaven. He had fought a long 5 year battle against stage 4 cancer but last year God completely healed him. We believe the length of the battle took its toll mentally. His mental anguish was so significant…too much for any of us to comprehend. So, we believe God took him home to completely heal his entire person—body, mind, and spirit.

It’s devastating to those he left behind, especially his daughter and son. As his mama, the pain is intense but at ease knowing that he is in heaven with my mama and sisters. Luisito was a loving father, a devoted son, and a cherished friend to many. His strength and faith inspired everyone around him, and his memory will live on in all of us. We miss his smile, his laughter, and the way he always put others before himself.
