Support for Luis Rubalcava's Fight Against Cancer

Hi all! My name is Miriam and I created this fundraiser on behalf of my close friends, Luis and Alex Rubalcava.

 

Luis was diagnosed in early April with Stage IV Esophageal Cancer at the age of 30. With such a discovery, his wife and family are hoping this fundraiser will help ease some of the financial burdens he will face throughout his treatment. He is scheduled to see an oncologist and begin treatment in the last week of April. We will provide updates as he moves into treatment.

 

Given the extent of his cancer, he is unable to continue to work and Alex (his wife) has become his primary caregiver. I hope that we can raise enough money to give them the opportunity to seek the best treatment out there. The money that is raised will be used to pay for his treatments, medications, wellness essentials, and any other medical-related expenses.

 

If you know Luis, you know he is the life of the party. He has such a positive outlook on life and is one of the strongest and funniest people you'll ever meet!

 

Luis is going to kick cancer's ass and come out of this stronger than ever. In the meantime, anything you can help with, even if it's just sharing this page, will be a huge help for him, Alex, and his family.
