The time has come for my beloved son to rest; he is now with God. After all the pain and suffering, he will finally be at peace.

In November 2022, my son, Luis "Scooby" Alvarez, was the victim of a brutal assault where a group of 6-8 individuals kicked him in the head about 200 times and stomped on his head about 10 times, leaving him critical and in full cardiac arrest. He never recovered from the extensive brain trauma, staying alive with the help of a ventilator and feeding tube, unable to move, speak, or see. His health kept declining with countless infections due to his state. After years of the best efforts and numerous surgeries, it was time to let him rest and his suffering to end.

We pray he is at peace and for justice to be done. In this difficult time, we are thankful for any support and prayers. God bless.
