On behalf of my brother and I, it is with deep sorrow that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of our father, Luis A. Montanez (Big Tony) , on Saturday, December 6th. Our dad had a unique way of showing love through humor, and being roasted by him was a sign you mattered deeply to him. Some may know him as Coach, some may know him as a Father figure, and others as Friend and Brother. Like many of us, he wasn't perfect, but he loved fiercely and lived authentically, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. His unexpected passing has left our family navigating profound grief alongside the financial burden that comes with laying a loved one to rest. This GoFundMe has been created on behalf of his children, Mimi and Tony, to help cover funeral and memorial expenses. All contributions will go directly towards honoring our father's life with the dignity and care he deserves. Tony and I are truly grateful for any support, kindness, prayers, and contributions during this incredibly difficult time.

Services will be held at Moloney Funeral Home in Central Islip on Saturday 12/20/25 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm
