We are heartbroken, as we share the unexpected passing of our loved one, Lucy Ann Lopez Mann on July 27, 2020. Lucy was found unresponsive and after many attempts, the medical staff could not bring her back.
Lucy was a proud alumnus of New Mexico State University and was a trusted social worker & counselor during her professional career, having worked at a domestic violence women’s shelter and non-profits dedicated to helping those in crisis.
For those that knew Lucy, she will always be remembered as a brave and strong single mom with the biggest heart. She was a woman of God, quick to offer a supportive ear and prayer. She was passionate about bringing joy, happiness and positivity to all whose lives she touched. No one will forget her contagious laugh. Her love for her family and friends was unconditional.
We are raising funds for Lucy’s only daughter, 21-year-old Destiny. Donations raised will help ease the financial burden that Destiny will be facing. This will help cover funeral expenses, her college and educational dreams (Destiny will be a junior in college), and other immediate living expenses.
