Today, Lucy begins dialysis — something no one ever expects to face, but here we are, taking it one day at a time. Dialysis is life-saving, but it’s also physically exhausting and comes with a lot of unexpected costs — medical bills, treatments, time away from work, transportation, and everyday expenses while we focus on Lucy’s health and recovery.
