We are saddened to tell everyone that L’tonya has suddenly passed away. As many of us know, L’Tonya has battled many health issues over the years. Her strong fight has ended & God called her home on 8/2/24. We as a family would like to thank everyone for the out pouring of love & support you’ve all shared. Before Tonya’s unexpected passing she made the decision to lay her only child/daughter Shanika to rest. Shanika has had a long, hard fight for the last few years on life support. Unfortunately L’Tonya was called home before she got the opportunity to lay her daughter to rest. It’s only appropriate that we allow Shanika’s body to be at peace. & bring this mother & daughter duo together again. We appreciate any amount you could donate (small or large)to help us put L’Tonya & Shanika at peace. Any proceeds would go directly to the family for funeral cost & left over amount would go to Shanika’s two children Terrell and jayceon. Again we would like to thank everyone for their love and support.

Shanika still lays in a nursing home bed. The family has been going threw court to gain custody over shanika to be able to let her go and allow her to pass peacefully surrounded by family and love but the funding is needed more now than it ever was as most of you know court filings get expensive lawyers are even more expensive and if you knew shanika you know she never would have wanted any of this happening she deserves a proper burial
