Update - mom passed peacefully 1/16/26 at around 8:40 am. We will never stop missing you mom ❤️‍ please watch over us

My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in September 2025. She chose to do chemo because she had to try. She has six kids. She is loved deeply. Giving up was never an option for her.

But after the new year, just after her 55th birthday, everything changed. The chemo broke her body down faster than we ever expected. She declined so quickly. There came a point where there was nothing left to do except keep her comfortable.

She is in hospice now. The doctors say it’s only a matter of hours. I’m sitting with the reality that my mom is leaving this world, and I don’t know how to hold that truth in my body.

Three of us are adults. Three of us are still teenagers. I feel like 32 is too young to lose your mom, but my heart shatters when I look at my baby siblings. I don’t know how they’re supposed to survive this kind of pain.

None of us were ready for this.

I’m asking for help now- help with cremation, services, and anything that can ease the weight on our family. The father of her children has been by her side every hour, caring for her, taking the kids to school, keeping life moving while his world is falling apart. He had to quit his job to be there for her, and the financial strain has been overwhelming.

My mom spent her entire life being a mother. She became one at 17 and never stopped giving herself to her children. That was her whole heart. That was her purpose.

Please keep us in your prayers as we walk her home and try to learn how to live without her.
