It is with heartfelt hope that I write this to create a conversation of optimism and encouragement to my brother and sister in law Lorisa, as well as a goal to create a small blanket of financial support during the challenging times they currently find themselves in. Lorisa is beautiful soul, a soul that has provided so much love and support to her family, to her community, to her career as a teacher and to her faith in God. It is now our time as her family, as her community and as her faithful friends to exchange that support. Over a year ago Lorisa was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. As you can imagine the impact that this has had on Lorisa, Brad and their family is insurmountable. As you may know, doctors appointments and medical expenses start to add up over time. I am asking for support to ease the burden of medical and additional expenses. Whether you feel compelled to make a meal, write a note of hope, offer prayer, or donate financially- we appreciate the support and love that her community continues to provide in order to uplift Lorisa to fight this cancer.
