**UPDATE**Just found out they will be admitting him to the hospital again soon. We have another meeting about it tomorrow. But they are confident, and we are staying positive and optimistic.
We are heading in to the Renown Cancer Treatment center this morning. Loring will begin his treatment with an infusion. At this appointment, we should be getting more information and a care plan, treatment schedules, and what we will have to do to stay on top of all of this. More information should be presented to us on what type of ALM Loring has. Once we find out, I will update it here on Facebook, and by phone to all of those who are regularly checking up on us. I have to say that it can be overwhelming to Niea and I because we are not used to the attention. Please forgive me if I forget to text back or reply to your message. I will have time to sort through everything at some point.
I wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who have showed love, prayed, sent good energy, good vibes, and have sympathize with our family. I also wanted to thank those of you who have donated to our GoFundMe, or on another platform. Your kindness is appreciated, and we are so thankful. You are providing gas, food, and comfort to our situation.
Again, I am again asking for help. Times have been tough for many, and many are going through the toughest of times. Please share our story. Please share our GoFundMe. Let people know who we are.
If you are wanting to immediately assist us, I have attached my Venmo and Cash App. As of now, almost 2 weeks later, we have not received any financial assistance from any foundation, or institution due to these things taking time to get started. We have received a lot of help through many of you, even if it was just kind words and encouragement. We need all of that! Thank you again for everything, and please share our story! Please help if you can. Anything helps! And know that your kindness will be remembered.
Loring is a bright and caring 19-year-old who has always been a wonderful big brother and a dedicated worker at Walmart. He enjoys gaming and spending time with his family, especially looking out for his younger sibling. Recently, Loring was unexpectedly hospitalized, and doctors are still working to determine the type of leukemia he is facing and the best way to treat it. This sudden diagnosis has turned his world upside down, leaving him unable to work and his parents, Joe and Niea, on leave from their jobs so they can be by his side.
The family is now facing significant financial challenges. With Loring still in the hospital in Reno, travel costs have quickly added up, and keeping food on the table has become a struggle while both parents are out of work. Joe and Niea have always been the first to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors in need, and now they find themselves needing support from their community. Every donation will help relieve some of the stress they’re experiencing, allowing them to focus on what matters most—being there for Loring as he begins his fight against leukemia.
Your support will go directly toward travel expenses and groceries for Loring’s family, helping them stay together and strong during this uncertain time. Any help is deeply appreciated and will make a real difference in their lives as they navigate the weeks ahead.
