On February 18th, 2026 Lorenzo Burton was born 1 lb 2 oz due to eclamptic seizures and placental abruption. Lorenzo has been fighting for almost two weeks, requiring the highest ventilation and listed as critical condition on Friday. He also will need his PDA (hole in heart) closed and cardiologist will decide based on his stability. He has a long road ahead of him.

While Lorenzo goes through this, my 8 year old Brantley will also be requiring a procedure due to having lesions that are growing pretty rapidly. Brantley will be seeing general surgery in a couple weeks.

Thankfully they will both be in the same hospital. However, this has been a huge financial strain especially since I am 2 weeks post-partum from eclampsia and cannot work.

Anything will seriously help and go toward gas, bills, etc. I live two hours from the hospital and this is very hard!
