Just recently, our family received the devastating news that my sister, Lora, is now facing a battle for her life. Lora has been diagnosed with a life-ending disease and has been given a terminal prognosis. Until recently, she has been living her busy, beautiful life as a wife and mother to her two young children. She received the diagnosis after just a few short weeks of showing signs of declining health. The only hope we have of saving our beautiful sister, mother, wife, and friend is a liver transplant. We are optimistic that she will be added to the transplant list soon, but the wait times can be long and we don't know if she will be able to receive one.

Because of her humility, she would never ask for help for herself, so we are stepping in to ask for help to relieve her family of some of the financial burden caused by hospitalizations, lost work time, and hopefully a transplant surgery.
