Hello everyone, my name is Shania. I'm reaching out for help during an incredibly hard moment for my granduncle and grandaunt.

On November 21st, my granduncle Lolo Mel was on his way home from work and was hit by a truck in Antioch and was in critical condition. He is 63 years old, and his wife, my grandaunt Cindy, are here in the U.S. working multiple jobs to provide for their kids and grand babies back home in the Philippines.

This unexpected tragedy has put a lot of pressure on Lola Cindy. The medical bills and daily expenses are overwhelming, and I'm asking for any help to support her.

Lolo Mel (most know him as Lolo Box) is my grandma's youngest brother, and Lola Cindy is his amazing wife of 42 years. Lolo Box is so talented and he LOVES to paint. Lola Cindy was the one who stood by my mom’s side when she was in labor with me. She even gave me my very first bath as a newborn. They have always shown our family love, support, and comfort.

We are asking for any help—whether through donations, sharing, or keeping our Lolo in your prayers. Your support will go directly toward his medical care and help ease the stress on my grandma as she tries to take care of her beloved husband, Lolo Box.
