Es con el corazón roto que compartimos el fallecimiento de Lola Plascencia.

Ella no era solo una amiga, era familia.

Nuestras familias crecieron una al lado de la otra, con mi mamá y Lola "las comadres" siendo inseparables, eran las mejores y más fieles amigas. Así que compartimos innumerables recuerdos a los que nos aferraremos para siempre. Como Los viernes comiendo comida rápida o los fines de semana cocinando y disfrutando de la compañía del otro. Durante muchos años, nuestras vidas estuvieron entrelazadas, y esos momentos son ahora algunos de nuestros recuerdos más preciados.

A Lola le encantaba peinarse su pelo chino y siempre con su copete y nunca la mirarías sin maquillaje, siempre con su labial puesto. oh, y usando sus lentes de sol con diamantitos brillosos. Y siempre manejando, le encantaba estar detras del volante de su carro Y siempre con esa enorme sonrisa. Ella era amable y llena de amor, el tipo de persona que hacía que todos se sintieran bienvenidos, vistos y cuidados.

Después de la desgarradora pérdida de su esposo, Juan, hace solo un año, esta devastadora pérdida ha dejado a sus tres hijos, Gaby, Juanito y Erika, enfrentando una realidad inimaginable. Perder a ambos padres al Cancer tan juntos es un dolor que nadie debería tener que soportar mucho menos a su edad.

Estamos creando esta recaudación de fondos para apoyarlos durante este momento increíblemente difícil.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Lola Plascencia.

She wasn’t just a friend—she was family.

Our families grew up side by side, with My mom & Lola being inseparable, they where the best of friends, what loyalty in a friendship really looked like. So we got to share countless memories that we will hold onto forever. Friday nights hanging out in our front yards eating junk food from Am Pm with the family. Or spending weekends cooking out and enjoying each other’s company. For many years, our lives were intertwined, and those moments are now some of our most cherished memories.

Lola loved wearing her curly hair with bangs and her hair in updos with a claw Clip and you could never catch her without a full face of makeup, always with her eyeliner and bold lips oh and wearing her large sunglasses and with the rhinestones on the side. She loved Disney and driving just as much!

But always with a huge contagious smile.

She was kind, warm, and full of love—the kind of person who made everyone feel welcomed, seen, and cared for.

After the heartbreaking loss of her husband, Juan, just a year ago, this devastating loss has left her three children—Gaby, Juanito, and Erika—facing an unimaginable reality. Losing both parents so close together due to cancer is a pain no one should have to endure especially at such a young age.

We are creating this fundraiser to support her children during this incredibly difficult time. The funds will go toward helping them with immediate needs, future expenses, and providing some stability as they navigate life without their parents.
