Support for Lofing Family and Dani's Heart Journey

Dani was born on March 21st with a congenital heart condition(s) called pulmonary atresia and hypoplastic right heart syndrome, leaving her with a faulty pulmonary artery and in the care of staff at Children's Mercy in Kansas City, MO upon delivery. Unfortunately, she is still there today. She's been through a lot already- a blood infection, intubations and extubations, and two heart procedures. Her most recent procedure to place a stent in the PDA of her heart was successful and the plan moving forward is to make sure her body can tolerate the workload of keeping her heart healthy and functioning without needing additional support such as an additional procedure, or restarting the heart medications she was recently weaned off of.

Shelby and Matt have been staying in the CICU with Dani since Day 1, leaving Matt out of work and Shelby running out of days left on her allowed maternity leave.

I ask everyone to send warm thoughts and know the family would really appreciate any donations that could contribute to hospital bills, or even gas to get to and from the hospital. It's important to them that they make sure Wayne and Weston are getting the love they need and ensuring they are living as close to normal as they can with their little one in the hospital.
