A family from Maple Tree Montessori Academy recently experienced a car accident while turning into the school parking lot. The accident resulted in injuries that required surgery and a period of recovery for both the parent and their young child. Thankfully, both are now stable and focusing on healing, but the recovery process will take some time, especially for the child who will need physical therapy and will be away from school for a while.

The child is a member of Ms. Carrie, Mr. Joel, and Ms. Sandi's class, and their absence will be felt by classmates and teachers alike. Along with the medical challenges, the accident also resulted in the loss of their vehicle, making daily life and transportation more difficult. The family is now facing medical expenses, the need to replace their car, and the financial impact of missed work during this time.
