Help Support Anthony (Tony) Schulz on His Road to Recovery
We’re coming together to support Anthony (Tony) Schulz, age 31 — a proud Journeyman Pipefitter with Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 562 for the past 8 years. He completed his apprenticeship with Corrigan and has been working with Fischer Mechanical for the past year. He is a 2012 graduate of Lindbergh High School in South St. Louis County.

On the evening of November 12th, Anthony was in a serious motorcycle accident near Lindbergh and Baptist Church Road. A teen driver pulled out in front of him and the impact was severe. The crash resulted in Anthony being thrown off his bike and his left arm was severely severed on impact from an anchor wire on a light pole. He went through massive blood loss, several transfusions, and ten days in Barnes Hospital. We are extremely grateful he’s still here with us today.

Anthony was released from the hospital on November 21st and he’s now home beginning a long road to recovery. Through all of this, he has stayed surprisingly positive. He’s talked about how grateful he is to be alive and how he knows his guardian angel — his mom — was watching over him. His faith and his focus on moving forward have been incredible to see.

How We Can Help Anthony
While he’s tough as they come, Anthony has a long journey ahead. He will be out of work as he heals, adapts, and goes through rehabilitation, and eventually begins the process of getting a prosthetic.

The goal of this fundraiser is to help him with:
  • Living expenses while he’s unable to work
  • Medical needs that aren’t fully covered
  • Future prosthetics and therapy
  • Day-to-day support as he adjusts to a new way of life

Anthony wants everyone to know he doesn’t feel like a victim. He’s thankful for every prayer, every message, and every bit of encouragement. He truly appreciates everyone rallying around him.

If you’ve worked with Anthony, you know he’s the type of brother you want on your crew — funny, loyal, hardworking, and always up for the next challenge. Now it’s our turn to stand with him as he takes on the biggest challenge of his life. Whether you’re a friend, family member, or a fellow trades brother or sister, any support you can offer means more than you know. Even sharing this page helps.

As we head into Thanksgiving and Christmas, a season built around gratitude, giving, and looking out for one another, we’re reminded how important community truly is. Thank you for helping Anthony on his road to recovery and for showing what it means to stand together when it matters most.
