Edit: Hi everyone, I've been advised that even though I';; be back to work on Monday that with the vet checkups and rehab I should have probably set a larger goal. Again, please only contribute if you can, I know this is a tough time for many of us. I'll also be posting the bills to be fully transparent about where the money is going. Hi everyone, first by far most importantly I want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support. Many of you know Lloyd and his little brother Morgan. We have a dog park close to where we lived and 99% of people check to see that it is empty before taking their dogs in. Unfortunately an irresponsible dog owner did not check and his 3 dogs were very aggressive to my two Goldens. Lloyd is very docile and once Morgan saw he was being attacked came to help. Unfortunately he suffered major leg injuries and will need a prosthetic for his right leg for the future. The GOOD news is he is slowly getting back to his happy self and Lloyd is also becoming his old self again. Morgan does face a long road to recover fully, and while we were able to cover most of the initial cost and insurance helped a little, that combined with the move to a new city as we didn't feel safe there anymore has left us in a bit of a financial bind. I'm sure things will get back to normal once we settle into our new place and I can get back to my normal work routine, but everything hitting all at once was a bit overwhelming. PLEASE do not feel obligated to contribute, your thoughts and prayers have already helped more than any amount of money can, which is what I truly believe. Thank you all again from our little family.
