Support for Lizzy's Recovery

On October 7, 2021, while at the joint GA/TN Planning Conference in Chattanooga, my amazing and dedicated coworker Lizzy Sandlin was struck by a drunk driver while walking back to her hotel. Lizzy suffered serious injuries, including broken leg, pelvis, shoulder, ribs, neck, wrist and elbow. After being hospitalized for a week, she has since been transferred to an in-patient rehab center in Atlanta where she will be for about a month before moving to outpatient PT/OT. Her recovery will be long and hard, and frankly expensive, which is why I have set up this fundraising page for her. If you feel inclined, please donate whatever small amount you can to help Lizzy with mounting medical expenses. All of the funds collected will go straight to Lizzy for her medical and recovery expenses. Thanks for your support!

P.S. Four others were also hit and injured during that crash. Two victims were treated and released with minor injuries, and two others suffered serious injuries and still hospitalized in Chattanooga.
