When someone who pours their heart into caring for others faces an overwhelming battle, her community has the opportunity to come together and step in with that same love and support.

If you know Liz, you know she is the kind of person who shows up for everyone around her — offering encouragement, lending a helping hand, and caring deeply for the people in her life. Her kindness and generosity have touched so many. Now, during an incredibly difficult season, we have the opportunity to surround her and her family.

Liz has recently begun chemotherapy again after learning that the ovarian cancer she has been bravely fighting has spread to the lymph nodes in her abdomen. This new phase of treatment is intensive and demanding, requiring her to focus her strength and energy on the fight ahead. Because of this, Liz has had to significantly reduce her hours at work, while at the same time the medical bills and related expenses are quickly piling up.

The reality is that this next chapter of treatment will place a heavy financial burden on the Le family at a time when their focus needs to be on Liz’s care, her strength, and spending time together as a family.

Funds raised will go directly toward medical expenses, treatment-related costs, and helping ease the day-to-day financial strain that comes with ongoing care — including lost income, travel to appointments, and basic household needs while Liz focuses on healing.

Anyone who knows Liz also knows she would never ask for help herself. She has always been the one stepping in when others are in need. This fundraiser is simply a community of people who love her coming together to carry some of that burden for her now.

Our hope is to relieve some of the financial pressure so Liz can focus on what matters most — her health, her family, and getting through treatment — without the added stress of mounting bills.
