We are all deeply touched by the outpouring of love, prayers, support, and generous donations for Little Luzita!!! It is with a very heavy heart that I painfully share that as of today, June 15th, 2018, our sweet girl's journey was hard fought but ultimately she will be removed from life support this evening. Today, Heaven will gain a precious angel. At this time, I am still asking to keep the prayers and support going strong for the Meza Family as they spend their final day with their baby girl. They have arranged to have Luzita's organs donated after her passing to other sweet littles waiting for a second chance at life, allowing their daughter to potentially save other children. Donations are hugely appreciated and are still welcome to now also help for the final expenses during this painful time... We cannot thank each and everyone of you enough for this tremendous help you all have been for this family! While we all are devastated at the thought of life without this precious girl, our hearts are flooded with love from you all for your beautiful generosity and selfless acts.

Precious Luzita is fighting to live right now. She has been in a coma since an unfortunate accident on June 9, 2018 and requiring a ventilator to breathe for her. Her tiny 3 year old body is trying to fight to keep her alive despite the unknown damage to her brain function. Mom Karla and Dad Christopher have been devastated and by her side through this heartbreaking situation. They recently bought their first home and have been excited to watch their family grow into their home with Luzita and big brother Julius, age 6. Luzita unfortunately did not have insurance at the time of this accident, and the growing cost of care for her is becoming an overwhelming burden to this amazing family. The Meza Family mean the world to so many people for all the lives they touch with their kindness and friendship and never ending support and love for everyone they hold dear to them. My hope with this fundraiser is to relieve some of the financial stress baring down on this beautiful family as they struggle emotionally, physically, and financially to watch their precious child try to fight her way out of this coma and hopefully recover in time. Any donation you are able to make to this family will be graciously welcomed to help them keep their daughter alive as well as to ensure she has a roof over her head when she is able to go home. Luzita has a long road ahead of her for recovery, but The Meza Family has strength and faith that their baby girl will open her eyes again and come home to them soon!
