Support for Lito’s family
Donation protected
Lito passed away unexpectedly on the afternoon of Thursday, 1st October 2020. He leaves behind his loving wife, Oanh, and their two beautiful daughters, Erin and Emma, who are understandably devastated.
Lito was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, son and friend. He was a happy-go-lucky kind of guy with the biggest heart and the biggest smile. Basketball was a big part of his life, not only did he love the sport, he also played for Brisbane Basketball Incorporated since 2002 and the Springfield Basketball League. In recent years he coached for the U9's Ipswich Brumbies for over a year. Tragically, Lito lost his life following a basketball tournament where he coached his youngest daughter’s U12 team.
He was an enthusiastic coach, not only to his daughters, but to many aspiring young basketballers and his passing has been felt deeply throughout the basketball community. Oanh is a dedicated and loving mother who is now trying to piece together her life without her soulmate.
We are trying to raise funds to help her with the immediate funeral costs, the cost of raising and caring for the couple’s two daughters and any other costs that may arise.
Our family extends their warmest thanks to everyone who has offered their condolences and messages of support to Oanh and the girls in their time of need.
We sincerely thank everyone who is able to donate to help relieve the financial burden on this grieving family. Any contribution, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated.
Please share this fundraiser on your Facebook page so that we can help Oanh and the girls as much as we can.
With gratitude from Oanh and Lito's family
