It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Lisa Dean, a woman whose kindness and warmth touched so many lives. Lisa had a beautiful soul, a contagious smile, and a heart full of love for everyone she encountered. Friends and customers alike knew her as their favorite Meijer employee, someone who made even the smallest interactions feel special.

Lisa was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished sister, and a dear friend. She cared deeply for those around her, always putting others first, no matter what she was going through.

Lisa faced years of serious health challenges, including kidney failure and cardiovascular complications that kept her in and out of the hospital for months at a time. From dialysis to multiple hospital stays, to moments when her heart stopped and had to be revived, she fought through it all with incredible strength. Recently, she developed an upper respiratory illness, and despite her resilience, she sadly passed away. The exact cause of her passing is still unknown, but what we do know is that her loss has left a deep void in our hearts.

As Lisa’s family grieves this devastating loss, they are also facing overwhelming medical bills from her extended hospital stays and treatments over $50,000 in expenses, not including dialysis. In addition, there are the funeral and memorial costs to honor her life the way she deserves.
