Lisa has always been the kind of friend who shows up for others, offering a listening ear and a helping hand whenever someone needed it. She’s been a steady presence in our community, supporting friends and loved ones through their toughest moments. Now, Lisa is facing one of the hardest challenges of her life. She recently learned she may have stage 2 or 3 colon cancer. The uncertainty is overwhelming, and the treatments—doctor appointments, chemotherapy, and more—have made it impossible for her to work. On top of that, her car is down, and she’s struggling to keep up with bills and daily expenses.

Lisa would never ask for help herself, but after spending time with her, I know how much she needs us right now. She’s trying to get social security disability, but the process is slow, and life’s challenges keep piling up. Our support can help her fix her car, cover essential bills, travel for treatments, and find some stability during this difficult time.
