Support for Lisa Krouse's Severe Brain Injury

Hi, first we wanted to thank you all for your prayers, love and support for our mom. In 2022 our mom got Gamma Knife surgery for an AVM/Aneurysm on the left frontal lobe of her brain. We were told within the next 4 years it should be gone and the procedure would cause little to no side effects. About one year after the procedure was done, she started getting major side effects dizziness, loss of balance and coordination, extreme headaches, fatigue, numbness within the whole right side of her body, loss of appetite, nausea, and memory loss. After about 5-6 months of experiencing these side effects she then started to have seizures. These seizures happen every day to every other day. From the seizures she developed 2 hematomas and a concussion from falling. She was diagnosed with Cerebral Radiation Necrosis and Cerebral Edema along with the AVM/Aneurysm. She has been in and out of hospitals. trying different medications, and our family has been looking for answers everywhere on how we can cure this. She constantly needs someone around her helping her with day-to-day tasks and cannot be left alone at all with fear she will have a seizure and hurt herself. She does not know when the seizures come on, she blanks out and we will catch her in the moment of it happening. We are constantly by her side. She has developed major depression through all this because her life will never go back to how it was. Our mom loves being independent in doing her own thing throughout the day and she is unable to do that anymore with fear she will hurt herself. She loves to be outside in nature, walk our dogs, walking, exercising, shopping, cleaning, working and exploring new things. Since this has happened, she has not been able to do anything she use to do. She can't work or be alone at all. It has completely taken a toll on her body and mind. Our whole family has been devastated that she even has to go through this, it is so scary, and we just want her to be okay again. On the last MRI nothing has changed. It's terrifying for her and us as the family making sure she is safe every day. She wears a helmet every day and we have put padding throughout the whole house to ensure her safety even more. My dad and I (athena) have had to take days off of work every week, having constant car issues and its harder than ever to survive on what we make. The FMLA at our jobs only allow us so many days to take off and not to mention cut us off until we are able to use it again. The days we have to go into work Alex takes care of her from morning to night and unfortunately, he is unable to get paid to be her caretaker. At this time, we ask you all once again to send your love and prayers over to our mom. It is one of the hardest things we have ever had to experience, and we just want her to get better.
