Lisa and her family are facing one of the toughest challenges of their lives. In early January, Lisa was diagnosed with DCIS in situ Grade 3 breast cancer. The news was devastating, and the impact on their family has been immediate and overwhelming. As medical bills began to pile up, Lisa and Russ were forced to make difficult choices, including skipping mortgage payments just to keep up with the minimum payments on Lisa’s treatments. Their four beautiful children are watching their parents navigate this storm with courage and faith, but the financial burden is growing heavier by the day.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward easing that burden. Every dollar will help cover medical bills, mortgage payments, and essential household expenses like electricity, water, sewer, and garbage. Your support will allow Lisa and her family to focus on what matters most: Lisa’s health, their family’s well-being, and their faith in God’s plan for their lives.
Lisa and Russ are truly some of the most selfless, loving, and faith-filled friends anyone could ask for. If you have had the blessing of meeting the Biggins family, you know that their word for this year is 'surrender.' No one knows why Lisa has this cancer, or why her family must walk this difficult path. But they hold tightly to the promise that 'In all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.' God has a plan. He has a purpose. He has a way. If you or someone you know feels led to give financially, please do so with our heartfelt thanks. We also ask for your prayers for healing, provision, and protection in the mighty name of Jesus.
