On September 12th, 2025, our beloved Lisa Ewing passed away after a sudden and devastating illness. Her family was by her side as she left this world far too soon.
Lisa spent her life giving to others. As a nurse in hospice and palliative care, she was a steady, compassionate presence for countless families during their hardest moments. She dedicated her career to helping patients pass with dignity and supporting loved ones through grief—a true calling of the heart.
Beyond her professional achievements, Lisa was the heart and soul of her family and community. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 32 years, Brett, a humble, loyal, and steadfast man who willingly took on every challenge life threw their way. Lisa was a loving mother, sister, and friend. Her warm presence filled every room she entered, and her love was evident in every loaf of banana bread, Christmas cookie batch, and any other sweet treat she baked and shared with others. Those who knew her described her as incredibly generous, kind, and endlessly supportive.
Now, as her family grieves this profound loss, they are faced with the unexpected burden of funeral expenses on top of medical bills. In a heartbreaking way, Lisa’s family now finds themselves walking the very same path of grief and loss that she once so selflessly guided others through.
If you are able, please consider donating. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease this financial strain and allow her family to focus on honoring Lisa’s life and cherishing the memories she leaves behind. Even if you cannot give, sharing this page means the world.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, kindness, and support as we remember Lisa and the incredible life she lived.
